Browse, share, and a public feed

A new page for browsing the whole catalog by filters, a public activity feed on Discover, share buttons everywhere, and reactions on reviews.

Added

  • Browse the whole catalog on a new page, narrowing it down by platform, genre, rating, and release year instead of having to know what to search for.
  • Discover now carries a public activity feed, so you can see what everyone is playing and reviewing without following them first.
  • The rows of people Discover recommends have see-all views, so you are no longer limited to the handful that fit on the page.
  • Report your own completion time for a game, so the times shown come from the people playing it here.
  • A game page now shows which of the people you follow already have it in their library.
  • Share any game, review, or profile with a button instead of copying the address out of the bar.
  • Filter the release calendar down to the platforms you actually play on.
  • Preorderable games on your wishlist show you where to buy them.
  • Sign up for the Materium newsletter from the site.

Changed

  • Reviews take reactions instead of a single helpful vote.
  • Tonight's Pick draws from more of your library and no longer leaves gaps when it scores what to suggest.
  • The star rating is larger and you can drag across it to set a score, which makes rating a game on a phone far less fiddly.
  • The shortlist is manageable on mobile rather than being something you could only rearrange on a desktop.

Fixed

  • Mobile layout fixes: the shortlist card no longer stretches the dashboard, date pickers stay inside their container, and box art keeps its shape on game pages.
