About Materium

Track your games. Share what you think. Find what to play next.

What Materium is

Materium is a home for your gaming life. It helps you keep a library of the games you own, are playing, and want to play; log your playtime and sessions; write reviews and rate the games you finish; and discover new games through the ratings and reviews of other players. Whether you are a completionist tracking every achievement or someone who just wants to remember what you thought of a game a year later, Materium keeps that history in one place.

What you can do

  • Build a library. Add games from a catalog of tens of thousands of titles, or import your existing library automatically by connecting your Steam account.
  • Track your playtime. Log sessions, see how long games take to beat, and watch your habits over time on your stats page.
  • Write reviews. Rate games, recommend them, and write reviews that other players can read and mark as helpful.
  • Discover what to play. Browse community reviews, follow other players, and get suggestions for what to play next.

Where the name comes from

The name is a nod to materia, the glowing orbs of crystallized knowledge from Final Fantasy VII. Slot the right one in and you gain a new ability. Materium is that idea applied to your gaming life: a place to collect what you play and turn it into something useful.

Who builds it

Materium is built and operated by Voidrender Systems, LLC, an independent software studio. Game metadata is sourced from IGDB, and every review and rating on the site is written by real Materium members. We are a small team, and we read the feedback our players send us.
